Old Hall Marshes - General Instructions

Conditions of Use:

Take clothing and sun protection appropriate to the weather and time of year
Wear boots or similar stout footwear, and take care when walking over soft, rough or uneven ground
Keep to the footpaths and observe hazard warning signs
Keep clear of steep banks, open water, sluices and dams
The intertidal zone is a hazardous area - do not leave the safety of the sea wall for this area
To reduce disturbance to wildlife and livestock, please keep dogs under close control

Cache Types

There are two types of caches: micros and clip boxes.

Other than Prequel 1, the micros all are camouflaged cylinders. They are fixed in place with a ring. Do not remove the micro, simply unscrew the lower part to reveal the log roll. After signing carefully insert the log, replace the tube and re-screw firmly.
All the micros are traditional caches i.e. the co-ordinates are given.

All the clip boxes are in camo bags. To simplify publication these are classed as puzzle caches but their location is merely determined by calculations involving:

UPPERCASE code letters found at locations on Old Hall Marshes ... OR
lowercase code letters which will be found on the cache logs. The codes take the form a=?? and are written in red.
